guess what!!!today i just went back from work and one of my chicken had all he's skin rip off and all he's intestine were out,there is no WAY that any animal kill it since they are in a cage,with wires and stuff(no sharp stuff)...thats it i was a former Marine,and i know exactly what to do!!they want war i will give them exactly the taste of a REAL WAR

I don't know your coop setup, but you say "cage" and "wire". Lots of times, people use chicken wire or cattle panel and it's not extremely sturdy against predators. I've never seen it, but seen many posts here about raccoons who will reach through a panel/wire and do exactly that to a bird, basically gut it.

another thought - do you have a local newspaper? They would be more likely to run the story , and give a lot of coverage.

Honestly I think its time for some photos to get a second opinion. Animals can do horrific stuff so you really could just be dealing with an animal trying to pull them through the wire.

My sister found a rabbit in her front yard with the head gone except for the eyeballs. It would be easy to jump to a human did it as it was so creepy but in her case that really was incredibly unlikely.

If you read the threads on here there are lots of injuries just like your and none were done by humans.

You need to calm down and leave your neighbour alone until you have actual proof like a game cam that they are doing this. If you do get proof you then need to take it to the authorities.

The part they edited out of your original post shows you could go way too far so please do nothing except getting proof.

Thats horrible. I doubt the police can do anything, but I'd be raging. I'm so sorry for you and for the chicks </3 Let us know if something pans out. Definitely with locks now, though its a huge shame you need to lock your coop up because of some insane idiot. I can't even tell you how much I feel for you and those poor babies.
