ok,i just bought spy camera and a padlock...so far everything is fine..my incubate egg just hatch a couple days ago,and that kinda make me less stress..thx too all of you for replying!

I know How you feel ALL of MY Chickens were killed one night when a Coyote Pack came I hate blood And there was a LOT of it.
And now that I think of it The only way its legs could be twisted is if like someone stepped on the feet and twisted the body! just thinking of it makes me quiver! I am so sorry for your loss I so now how you feel.

( I don't want to sound rude but can you post a pic I would like it If I could See the deadly murder seen and who ever did it is going to be in sooo much trouble!!!!!!

Don't want to be rude but were is the pic? I want to see it so I can really find out what happened or did you forget to take a pic? Its okay if you did Nothing wrong with that.

Injuries from a coon are obvious, and once they get a good enough hold to eviscerate a chicken, they don't let go without eating what they can. I realize that its hard to accept that a "person" would do something this evil, but that's why they get away with it.If you hadn't posted (ya, I know, I wouldn't know about it if you hadn't) I would suggest you permanently take care of the problem, but that's not really an option, unless you can figure out a completely legal way to do it. But waiting for it to happen again isn't a good solution either. How about posting against trespassing and camouflage bear traps or something equally nasty. Could you do it without being seen? Oh and if you catch them,don't go out there where he can see you( unless he gets free) just call the police,make them wait & try to free themselves until the cops come. As long as its legal to trap varmits, you should be covered, after all your land is posted and you were trying to catch whatever animal was mutilating your chickens. Good luck.

Right now I'm just furious cause I just really find out the real cruel F***k!!just now we had a tea time or so,I was talking about the chicks...then my mom said how do u know it is people that did this,so I said that "c'mon there leg we're cut,twisted..my dad hops in n said maybe they get there leg stuck and tries to push it out from the cage,I got a little furious at that statement since,I mean c'mon logically a chick cant do that,not with he's baby like power to even pull there leg to such a strength they got there leg twisted,cut(clean cut),and what?all of them has there leg stuck on one night?!then I said look at one of the baby chick(the one died flat,bone crush,guts out...and u know what kind of crappy statement my dad make?!he said maybe the other baby chick accidentally sits on em..WHAT!!,did he thing I'm that stupid to believe a featherweight baby chick sits on em,crush it's bones,flat dead by a featherweight baby chick,dude there like 5 days of age..then we got some serious talk,and I said maybe you(my dad)the one that did it(since he gives Sh1ty reason why they die)...then it came out...oh yeah I did,there's already a lot of chicken back there,who's gonna buy the food?you?.yup...it's my dad..he was indeed my last suspect after my neighbor..first time when I suspect em,I kinda monitor em,like when I start locking my baby chick cage he was like Huh?how I'm going to feed em*gulp*" yeah right,I'm the one that feed them,then other day I saw em staring on how I open my lock,I was like whateva..then the next day my baby chick died(the one I hatch it),we'll he got no sign of physical pain that I can see..but he died an odd way of horizontal posture,legs too...he was healthy and active,from the look of it he's death was by suffocate,I mean like someone close he's nose,I've seen chick died before but not with a superman posture in a cage,yup in a cage..I did lock it BUT the upper door can bend,so I lock the upper part too now,and everything was fine???so yeah the Sherlock break the code once again..I feel angry n disappointed...I feel so lose right now,I'm going to join the FFL,and have no regret....

today,i woke up do my own stuf,eat,bath,etc...i went to the coop just like everyday..i went to check on my baby chicken in the coop,and i was so angry..went i look at my baby chicken legs,they are all bloody and almost each of their leg is twisted like 2-5 time!i know imediately NON of these are animal act nor snake or whatver..i know this is a human act..i suspect my neighbour since he always hate our chicken,always give us that kind of look...my baby chicken had their leg twisted thats all.. i might post the picture of it..anger and sadness...
