Hi all. Thought I'd share my chick "portraits" They have gone to their brooder at my client's house and have settled in with their chicks very well. Didn't realize I'd miss them so much!

Thank you! I am glad the family that gave me the eggs are planning of keeping any hens. They (obviously) already have a rooster so they will try to give any others away...lets hope they don't have to become dinner! I had someone ask me (someone who has shady friends) if their friend could buy some of the chicks I hatched and I was glad the "parent" family said they didn't plan on parting with any...

Isn't it silly to feel protective over them? Something about raising them from dots in an egg that makes your heart pitter-patter
