Sharing our cuteness overload 14 pound bunnies ;)

I usually only post chicken pictures but I have to share the adorableness of these extra large bunnies. Velvet is almost 14 pounds and Pinto is about 10 pounds. They are a bonded and unrelated pair of Flemish Giants. Velvet is about 18 months old and Pinto is about 5 months old. We're hoping these gorgeous pair decide to become rabbit parents. We love the breed and cherish them. They both love to be petted and played with constantly.

This is them in their new home we put together. It's a 15x15 foot pen with an attached kennel. They are litter box trained and we pressure wash the stone once a week in case of any accidents.

Our daughter calls them her rabbits, but hubs loves them so much (and so do I).

Anyway, please enjoy cuteness overload as much as we do.

Agh, look at those ears!! So cute! Can you show us a picture of your setup? It sounds awesome!
Sure! I'll grab a pic of the full thing when I am out there next. Right now, it's fairly simplistic but going to give them a few more upgrades in the next week or so. I think they'd enjoy a digging bin and some grass in a raised container for them to play on.

Thanks for looking - here is some additional information on their set-up. The pen in the entrance way we plan to use if/when Velvet has babies so she doesn't get pregnant again right away but still can be close to Pinto as they're bonded. For now, it is just open so they have more space.

We bought an "indoor dog litter box" for them to use and they seem to prefer that over the standard boxes. We also got them a Kuranda pet bed in case they wanted to sleep off the ground (they do seem to like it and mostly lay under it. We use the pelletized Timothy hay (that is what is mostly in the feeder, along with a mix of high quality rabbit food).

Of course I can't resist putting some extra pics of the two of them snuggling up together at the end <3.
