. Yes for some strange reason skittles are like speed for me...C and J have had the pleasure of seeing the affect they have on me

And, he is serious about skittles being like speed for him! I have never seen an adult get as hyper as he does when he eats them!!! He was bouncing around in the drivers seat of his truck when he was here and we went to the liquor store! I was seriously beginning to wonder about him!

rofl...think it might be something with one of the food colorings

All is good here... cold and a bit snowy but good.

Bob, I worked retail for about 10 years. I always enjoyed a new challenge (new store). Never did the grocery store thing but I imagine it's the same deal. I ran truck stops with huge C stores, full serve restaurants, repair shops, fast food, etc. You just haven't lived until you've ran a truck stop. You truely do see something new every day...

Skittles will do that... I used to grab a bag for the 45 minute ride home after a long day. I used to walk through my departments each morning with a digital camera snapping pictures of all the problem areas... after about the third day of emailing pictures to all my lazy department managers, they started getting to work before me to ensure their areas were ready for todays business. It amazes me how much 'tunnel vision' some employees can have.

if my store isn't ready first thing in the a.m. It means I lost sales the night before.. With grocery business as competative as it is today I don't accept loosing any sales! Just a matter of intoducing that culture into the store associates way of thinking

You can do that, but I know better!

Termed an employee today for violating company's merchandise and cash handling policies. Read between the lines on that one, people seriously get on my nerves. You tell me how much you need a job and more hours, etc. Then act like an idiot. Ugh.

Hope your first day went well.

aww thanks for the invite but I probably won't be able to make it. BTW I set eggs for New Years...including the Marans I sniped
wink.png

here's what they are...white ameraucana (hopefully to grow some out for a fellow sniper), w/bw ameraucana, splash marans, a few olive eggers and a few project pullet eggs to fill space. I also set turkey eggs the week before, but were set late (monday). Maybe they will hatch early with the other peeps. I crammed 30+ eggs in the Brinsea ECO.
