I really don't know if my Marans are any good type-wise. I got them off ebay, and although the egg color was good, I don't know if the hens are typy.

To tell you the truth, I haven't been paying that much attention to them. They are in the general population with all the other girls, and since they're not laying yet, and are not "snuggly", I pretty much just feed'em and let them be.

I will start keeping my eye on them a little closer.
