I havent ordered eggs from the others but I can tell you that Gumpsgirls eggs are to die for-I had 13/14 fertile all made it to lockdown-even a cracked one-I managed to get 9 hatched-6 splash and 3 blue--I am over the moon for them!!!

Oh Nat, that is so good to hear. I have all developing right now. I just love those Splash and Blues! I have more coming from TatersChickens after I move and I hope to get some from Katy some day. I also have BLRws coming from Janie-Marie. She is actually in driving distance from me,(about 3 1/2 hours) so if the shipped ones don't do well, I will just drive up there and get a batch.

I'm off to Lowes now to get more stuff to finish the new coop.

holy cow! I just turned off my auto-turner & was moving eggs & 1 peeped at me so loud I almost dropped it! I have TWO pipped & it's only Day 19!
These Dipsy Doodle Ameracaunas are apparently like my Blue Andalusians--never had them go a full 21 days & I've been hatching them for 2 years now.
Let the fun begin!
I was going to bake a cake but better go set up my brooder box instead, lol!!!

We are coming to the end of day 19 and no pips yet. In usual fashion, I get wigglers, then a day or so of silence, before anything happens. . so hopefully some pips tomorrow, day 20.

Nat, did you get finished before hubby came home?

It rained here all day pretty much, so I didn't get anything done outside, or inside really. Hubby's working so I took a lazy day and took a real nap. I feel like a new person!!
