Mary!!! I have another broody!! shes a bantam dark brahma but she "Stevie" is my little queenie...First time going broody but she seems like shed be a dream mommy! I cant wait for the eggs to come!!!! I informed DH I had a surprise from my buddy Mary...

Ok Nava, you live in Florida right? I have bought 3 batches of eggs and have had horrible results. This last batch a lot pipped the air cell but suffocated

. My other shipped eggs I set same day are hatching just fine. These eggs come from Florida and are the ONLY ones I can find. Would you be interested in hatching some eggs and shipping the chicks to me? I guess something else would need to be hatched for packing peanuts since he only sells 9 eggs at a time

. I have my fingers crossed for the last one in there. I pipped the shell and am going to help it out later. After spending well over $100(total) for these eggs I would like SOMETHING

. I just wanted to see my options just in case this one doesn't make it out, I am just so bummed, 9 went into the hatcher(out of 18)

Still hatching chooks here but I only have one more set of eggs coming -barnevelders. They were sent out Monday.

Just locked down (day 19) are:
1. 13/19 split lav/lav orps from Tony - Hope I get some lav babies!!

2. 19/24 other eggs (day 20). About half are blue and green egg EEs and half potential polish/silkie crosses, but could be just silkie or just polish.
I have some of these already. They are too cute - will need to post some pics.


Then still in the incubator are some crele polish, regular polish, more silkie/polish crosses, some mixed (potentially double yolkers again) and finally some peahen eggs........At least a few of these have embryos

Yes, they lockdown tomorrow. Did final candling last night. I have got to get my flocks set because hatching home eggs is 100% better than hatching shipped chicks. I only got 4 SS out of "our" batch. And I received 15 Mollted Javas in the mail. The box was beat to he!! 3 were smasked only 4 made lockdown and only 2 hatched.

I am done with hatching after these Lt. Brahmas for the year

yeah, no one seems to have them, or at least a pair....
I was hoping to buy the eggs and have them sent to you. Maybe if they didn't have to travel so far and had the same climate etc they would do better. This one chick looks like it might make it. If so then I don't have to worry about it. I am just going to get some nice black sumatra to put the khaki with and get dun and go from there. I don't know why I havent' been able to get them to hatch, this has been worse than araucana

I was just curious if the option was available.....especially since I have a whole project dedicated to this and NEED these

for once I am hoping the lone chick is actually a cockeral...
