Ok...just got done.....they all are going into lockdown....and I had quite a few that are pipped thru the air cell already!!!!!!!

Also, for a quick peek...I candled the D'Uccles from upintheholler....8/12 (4 quitters) which means all were fertile...!!!!!

Thanks for the support. I felt it was best to get my support here with my fellow sharks.
Ivan liked to jump the fence every now and then and attack the dog. We would watch in case he did. But he hasn't in a while, and of course one of the few times we're not out there watching, he jumped the fence. I know you all feel the same way I do.

He's in shock for sure. He's not moving, just breathing. He's in my spare room in a crate with a heat lamp and towels.
When we put him in the crate, he stood with his head up for a minute, so I don't think anything's broken.

god Sem, I'm so sorry about your roo. That's terrible

Nature (and chicken-raising) just sucks sometimes. Seems like they get hurt so much more often than our other pets. Words can't express how badly I feel for you, your dh, and roo. I surely hope he makes a full recovery.
