stop it! Guess what??? This might be better than I thought-ok long story short-those who have been to my house knows what Im talking about-it sucks! there is no insulation or good heat in my house elctric and fuel-so Dh has been working hard to get an outdoor woodstove together and pipped into the house -we can only do a little at a time because of finances. So the majorty of the duct work is done. Last night I said to him "you know...If you added just one more duct to the room off of the house I could move ALL babies in there and no smell in the house-no dust etc....I could have my own hatching room and it will be warm all year?" He just looked at me and said "we'll see:)"
That room could expand our bedroom as its 12 x 12. But he knows the funds and time and energy are just not there for such a big project but to add one eentsy duct into it for me for a year or two until we can utilize it for our bedroom??? It's a storage room now and a mess from just moving things in and out but dang -all he has to do is say the word "yes" Ill have that room set up within 24 hours--then I can hatch whatever I want all year round!!! I wont be a ding dong about it-but I sure would love to have test hatches with just 6-12 eggs whenever I feel like it!!!!

6-12 eggs? Really?? It's ok, you can admit you're gonna put the big bator in there and hatch year round....
 
Im here guys just in a funk is all-the kind of funk you just want to slink away for a day or so to regroup and reset priorities and move towards that. Got a PM from a friend on here and her son was in an accident today -he's okay as well as all the passengers-they are all messed up pretty good-I just feel so bad I was more tuned into the hatching than noticing her son was in a car wreck I feel like a crappy friend for it--and it really saddened me-I never even checked the threads today for updates and to say hey to any of them and that happens when I dont check in.??..Its a bumming feeling for me:-( Then other stuff going on today--just not in a great mood now:-( Ill be ok I just feel you know ..saddened by it I guess..

I came home to 5 chicks-1 white-2 splits-2 B/B/SP--one of my splits was shrink wrapped bad so I had to help it it had been stuck with no shell left just membrane it was dried out poor baby-It wound up ripping alot of fluff off:-( no more pipping yet either:-(

Thanks guys-Im slowly learning it is alot more serious than I first heard about the accident--one of the girls actually had her poor face crushed in and they wont let her parents see her yet:-( SO it humbles me that I have so much and Im happy and there is this poor girl that is in her early teens that just had her looks and and life almost taken-no alcohol was invovled:)


Mommahen-yes 5 is better than none for sure-Im holding out for a few more as we are just ending day 21....

Christine got the eggs and the seeds haha-Lovins will love them:) thank you so much--Im actually going to recycle that box you sent them in for an order to go out Monday --haha-
