OK, so that is our "special needs" kitty, Patches. She isn't really special needs, but she is very dumb. Jeremy calls her a pound purry, since we got her when he worked at the SPCA. He has been laughing at her the last couple nights because she has been sleeping with her face pressed down into the couch. How she can breathe like that, I don't know. She weighs about 13 pounds and comes when you whistle, just like a dog.

Nooooooooo!!!!!!!! You would be amazed at how many things I put in search and end up back at this thread. It may be chatty, but tons of good info from some really good breeders (not referring to me, some of you all). I have learned a ton from this thread. Mites, humidity levels, hatching, I could go on and on.

Gee Phage, have you ever noticed how cranky Northerner's get when it gets really cold up there? Have you noticed when we have 110F and are sweating like beeatches and the Northerners go"oh la de da its only 82 up here" we don't jump on them and get our noses out of joint? We usually just say "yeah and we're dieing down here".
So whats the deal folks?
Edited to say: Northerners must be pink fluffy whiners
Maybe it is the short days up north and lack of sunlight making them feel depressed????
