Those olives are as dependable as clockwork, aren't they!

What causes so many quitters or blood rings? I don't know if I know how to recognize a blood ring. Does it go all way around?

Also, I put my eggs in at 12:30 afternoon on Sunday. Is Sunday day one? Or Monday. Bator was up to temp within two hours and has held steady since.

Shipped:) I got 1 BBS orp egg in a shipment last month and it hatched! and it was a splash chick named "crayola" she is precious. I got 4 more from the same person and all 4 are growing from Georgia!

That's excellent! All 6 of my shipped bantam cochin eggs made it to lockdown (should hatch tonight/tomorrow). I hear them peeping now!

I saw you were interested in the "test" mille fleur cochins that are about to end...me too. I bid on them earlier today and am debating on going for it...

MOnday is day 1 for you:)

Yup my olive eggs seem to be great with fertility ad hatching but the suspense is rediculous because you cannot see in them and are left guessing until the very end!

IDK why so many blood rings-Shipping really took the toll on these eggs-first time it was this bad with shipping:-( Blood rings are really dark when the blood pools in a circular pattern-no more veining either

You will know a blood ring when you see one. Yes it goes all the way around and it (for me) seems darker than a large vein. looks like a hoola hoop inside (can be a bit diagonal)

Monday at 12:30 marks 1 day. That is how I count my days, came out perfect last time around.

I am glad for you that you have eggs in...now we wait...

I keep getting up and going down stairs to check if anyone has made a move for it in the incubator. Maybe I should make some mudslides and relax.

Well, it's just my six from my girls that we had so far, but 5/6 are good on these mutt babies, so I am happy, especially considering how old the eggs were. One is obviously clear, but I haven't pulled it yet.

Yep! These are the six left from my girls. So far, on day 5, 5/6 are obviously good so far! The one is obviously clear and never started.
