The eggs weren't labeled...and with yours...hmmm....could be..no wait...there were only 3 lf cochins huh?

Got me then! Some of Sunangel's pics of her chicks from Natalie have feathers down the legs. Could they be from Nat's eggs?

This is my last suggestion and I won't belabor the point any further. Just trying to help out! You'll figure it out.

You aren't belaboring...you were helping me think....I didn't have that many OEs...and all the MCs were black...I guess we will have to see how they feather in..

OK, so I lied. Here i go again.

Two of my bantam mottled cochins came out black backed with grey chipmunk stripes and mostly yellowish cream everywhere else. I assumed those are the blue mottled. The one black mott I have is, indeed, black. These are from pamperedpoultry. One of my mixed color giant cochins from coups-coup came out with reddish chipmunk stripes.

Match chicks that you know to eggs that have hatched. Match the chick/egg match to what was on your last lockdown list. Match the eggs that haven't hatched to the eggs on your last lockdown list . Whatever remains that has hatched has to be the chipmunk chicks. Does that make sense? It is just a process of elimination. You'll figure it out when you get home, if you can find your last lockdown list on this enormous thread and sit there and match chicks and eggs.

Are they brown chipmunk or black/gray chipmunk?

There are a few with yellow down and few with red down with brown stripes down their backs...I will post more pics this afternoon...in the pics I added yesterday, there are a few in that pic...the pretty red ones...but from what I saw, the eggs aren't labeled that the chicks came from and a creamy egg...not a large egg btw)
