I have the hardest time waiting during lockdown. Do you actually make your own yarn or do you knit?
Knitting is amazing.

I knit and I spin. And handpaint/handdye. I just reopened my Etsy shop and am trying to restock. So right now I'm mostly spinning. I like to crochet, too! And sew.

My new chicks had to all cram in to the food pot for a nap

Ohno! I'm so sorry! I didn't know you had a sick chickie!

I just pushed her hernia back in with an iodine q-tip and put a dot bandaid over it. There was a pic of one in a thread, looked just like mine. It looks like un-absorbed yolk. I am hoping that the cover will keep it or others from picking good thing is, is it doesn't seem to be in pain. It's most likely a blue, ofcourse the poor bugger was shrink wrapped and I had to help also. This poor chick has had one he!! of an entry into the world. If it makes it, inevitably it will become a favorite.

It would be a favorite of mine too.

Wow. That is all real art. My mom can knit and crochet but I never had talent for it. Last time I used a sewing machine I sewed my pants legs together.

Sounds like me with tools. My husband can't figure why I can't fix anything. No mechanical ability whatsoever. But I can't figure out why he can't match his own clothing. So I figure we are even...

Luvins-Those lemons are ours to share my little spicy friend:)

How is the baby this am????

Mary--any news!!!! I hope all is well

Sem awesome pictures how precious can that be in the food bowl? LOL

Blessed--good luck today is 21!!!!

Well, Dotte as I will call her is fluffed out and strolling aroung the bator like she owns it with her little dot-bandaid on her belly. She may just be fine and there is another blue in the bator. 4 more eggs in there with no signs of activity. I'm waiting though today is legally day 20. I'll get pictures at some point. I want to let her be as dry as possible before I move her. I am also going to work to steal a big box to create another brooder. I don't want her in with the 2 week olds.

Mary - I was hoping to log on and see that your chicks had made it safe and sound. Here's hoping that no news means you are tending to new chicks.

The three I have left are doing great. Eating, drinking and kicking up the bedding. Too bad they couldn't have all made it. Poor little chicks!
