yea the person that sold me the hens and roo, crossed the NN with a Blue Orp to get BNN and he said that that could have been posible to get an orp,but i think that if i keep working on them i can breed them to get only BNN"s

Oh wow! I guess that would do it. Glad you got the water wiggler thing. I think optimum is between 99.6 and 100.

A full incubator is easier to keep at a steady temp than one with a few eggs in it. Do you have forced air or still air in your incubator, Mary?

I was using mercury thermometers and digital....the new digital is what I am reading now...(brand new battery..etc) The other 2 digital could be reading wrong because of the batteries being weak..IDK I can't have another bad hatch...lol

Yeah, we had the same "fun" trying to get it. But I'm glad you figured that out. For the water wiggler to get that high, your air temps must really be up there!

Jen and Nava, your babies are so cute

Nat, wow, good for you!!! I've tried everything, nothing has worked so far. Done the Chantix thing twice. It makes me so sick I quit using it after a week or two, then end up smoking again.

Sem, can you tell us more about this e-cigarette thing? The chickens are doing an excellent job of getting rid of the jap beetles. It's become one of our favorite summer pastimes, catch the beetles and feed the chickens. Whole family gets in on it lol.

Mary, yes, with forced air it should only be around 100*

You all were so chatty last night, so to anybody I've forgotten, I'll just say

awesome Sem-Ill have to look that up!

I mean 1 year vaping. One year tobacco free.

Carrie, the website has every bit of info you could possibly want. Basically, it's a battery that heats a coil that gets a liquid on it and produces vapor. The liquid is mostly water, propylene glycol (an additive to alot of foods and cosmetics), and flavoring, and your choice of amount of nicotine. As you inhale or push a button and inhale, it feels and hits like cigarette smoke, exhales like cigarette smoke and gives you a bit of nicotine without all the cancer causing burning tobacco with all the poisons. I gave up the tobacco without withdrawel, and I still have the hand-to-mouth thing. I loved to smoke and may have never given up smoking, this is the only thing that worked for me.

The ones newbies are attracted to resemble cigarettes. But for some they don't provide enough smoke like vapor to be satisfying. So there alot of "mods" made now, which look less like a cigarette, but provide more vapor, throat hit, etc, and use rechargeable batteries. The mods are great but need a bit of maintenance weekly or so, like cleaning with alcohol, and applying this stuff called noalox, which helps prevent the oxidation of the metal, oxidation reduces the current going to the coil, and amount of vapor you "smoke".

Now I can vape in the house, in my car , and no smoke odor in the car, I even vape in the kitchen at work. And the list of flavors is unending. From near tobacco flavor to caramel, blueberry, mint, cappoccino, pear, cherry, Marboro and just about any flavor. Enough said, I am a wealth of information on models and problems that may come up.

I forgot you had d'uccles! Those are the cutest little chickies.

I have 22 of onthespot's egg's that should hopefully hatch this weekend. I have a love-hate relationship with olive and blue eggs because I can't candle them!
