Kristen,

If I'm looking for barring on these chicks to be roos, well, I got 4 hens from the looks of things. Should barring be obvious by now? They are 4 days old, almost 5. They are getting feathers, but there is no obvious barring yet.

ETA: there are some white spots, though... and now that I went and looked at pics, maybe I better withhold judgement. Camera is dead or I'd post pics.

How old are they when they are mature and have those pretty feathers. Our fair is in October and I'd love for my girls to be able to enter with a Royal Palm.

Hey, I've noticed today that my chicks' poo is strange looking. It's beige, foamy and has pink flecks in it. Anybody know what this might be. Not normal chick poo. I know that. It think it's all of them...
