Thanks so much for the shoulder you guys. My babies are now gone, and I'm actually okay. She really was super nice, and seemed really excited about getting into chickens again. Knew all about keeping them warm and such. Had the chick starter already. She was going to buy from TSC when she saw my ad, so got all the stuff she needed. It's nerve-wracking when they don't really know what they are doing with young chicks, so it was a relief that she had a clue. We'll see how I do on Satuday. My son was really sad, but he'll get over it quick enough. He's not attached to them, just likes to play with them when they happen to attract his attention. So that's it for batoring for now I guess. Just have the eggs coming from Gumpsgirl for under my newest broody. Although from all the resposes to my ad, I could probaly hatch again and have no trouble selling them

sounds like a good excuse to me anyways. Except then I'd have to sell them again, and that part just sucks. I'm going to concentrate on Cochins, Orps (which is why the gumpsgirl order), and maybe my Silkies (if I decide to keep them). Oh yeah, and my Pycheons, and Serama's. Sheesh. I have alot of egg customers without even advertising them in any way, so I need to concentrate on large egg layers that lay in the winter. My babies are gone, and it's too quiet in the LR now. The house feels empty, which is strange indeed considering an 11 year old boy is home with me lol.

Yeah, I'm still trying to decide if I want to keep my bantam cochins or not. I keep going back and forth on whether to get rid of the banty's or the silkies. I just can't make up my mind

They are all just so sweet.
