I have eggs that shipped from Cedartown GA the 24th make it to Atlanta the 28th and have no record thereafter. Still waiting. Hope to get them today or tomorrow. I just pmed the seller to let them know.

Well, by golly, got those eggs yesterday late afternoon. They were very poorly packaged. Some 1/2 egg cartons on the bottom and eggs loosely wrapped in bubble wrap and a few wadded up paper towels. Some of the eggs had popped out of their bubble wrapping and were rattling around in the box. 2 were broken. It looked like the box had opened and had to be re-taped by the PO. I will incubate them but don't expect a whole lot, even though I was assured there had been good hatch rates on shipped eggs. I'm not a happy camper. Spectacularly poor pack job. Too bad I didn't buy these via auction.

I'll put $100.00 in a SLB pot. I'm serious. Whoever hatches them needs to have a really good incubator!

How would it work? I might be interested too

Oh Nat...(and Brindle haha) I just noticed that I didn't update...

Lavender Ameraucanas (Harry Shaffer~seller) 20/30 hatched!
Light Brahmas (ebay sellers) 13/16 total from both sellers

that's awesome, how was the egg color? I hatched one from him over a year ago, came from the bluest egg I have ever gotten, and I have hatched LOTS of ameraucana and araucana. Unfortunately just as SHE started laying I had a fox go into her pen(they were free ranging) and get her as she tried getting back to the coop

, it was the middle of the day so I didn't expect it

. So now I have a beautiful lonely lav roo.....

The eggs were a pretty blue...1 or 2 of them had a green tint tho...just beautiful chicks!Aww sorry you lost her....

If you have black Ams...you could breed him to a hen...which will in turn cause a split but will eventually get you some lavenders again....(or just buy some more lav eggs lol)

I just wanted to reiterate that I would put $100 into a pot for silver laced brahmas as well. A GOOD incubator would be a must with how expensive the eggs would be.

Nice to see you on here cowgirlgrace!

Hey guys, I have been corresponding with Big Medicine aka Gary. Evidently Nava got caught up in the net the mods threw over the brouhaha on the 'other' SLB auction. Gary emailed the mods to make sure they knew Nava was a sincere bidder asking legit questions and not a trouble maker, which I think was a very nice thing to do that he didn't have to.

I am posting this so everybody knows what is going on and not for any further discussion about the other auction or the postings thereon, because I feel like the people who posted there were sincere in their motivations, it all just got out of hand. So let's not discuss that auction further on this thread.

Anyway, I have had my hands verbally slapped by the mods a couple of times. I'm sure that will surprise ya'll.

So Nava, you can join the club!
