I would love more, but I can't pay for shipping until Friday. (Or I sell some eggs...LOL) We had some tomatoes grow in our compost pile. I tried to move them last weekend, and they are not doing well at all.

No problemo! Knowing me I won't get them out until way past that and if it is a problem just don't pay. I'm glad they are getting a good home! AND you are encouraging me to dig them up, which I have been needing to do!

I know exactly how you feel! I am the worst!

That is so not right! I mean, my chickens are my pets - with names and everything. I would be really upset. How dreadful.

Your welcome to some, Nat, but I'm pretty sure they won't survive in New York!

Big long green stem with a HUGE heart shaped leaf on the end. If you feed and water these enough the end leaf will grow big enough to cover the hood of a small car.

Man, I don't know whether to be upset or angry at myself for thinking that my mule was going to a good home. It was just too good to be true. I have a 5yr old gaited mule. She's beautiful and just spent 4 months in training. A lady contacted me and was very interested. She has a beautiful home and several beautiful horses, but since she has 2 knee replacements, she was looking for a nice steady calm mule. My mule, Buttercup (BC) has turned out to be calm, steady as a rock, very sweet. She does need some reminders to keep walking, LOL, but alot of people feel more safe that way. This lady comes and falls in love with her, spends hours with her, says it's a match made in heaven, measured her for a saddle, has been taking lessons on her, etc. See? It sounds to be too good to be true.

In the meantime, she brings her other horse #1 up to the barn, (Glover's) for a refresher course, for her hubby to ride cause it's his horse. But he really doesn't ride very much (so why waste your time?) Now she's bringing another horse#2 who's a huge bully that she needs to sell because he "hates her", so he'll get some training before he's for sale. Then she's bringing another horse,#3, an older horse, to be examined to see if she can be ridden because she has arthritis.

Aside from that, yesterday I'm watching her horse have a training session, and it's pretty interesting, but this lady isn't watching, she's telling me how bad her husband is and how she can't deal with him because he's a vent hole, and their house was built with that sheetrock that causes illness (long story), and more about her rotten hubby who hasn't "been" with her for 2 yrs now, etc.

So now she says that she's kind of afraid of BC and she has to think about whether BC is going to work out for her. Mind you, I would put ANY person or child on that mule, she is as safe as you can get and that's without mileage.

So this woman is a fruit loop!

BC's training ends on the 7th. And I will probably still own a gaited mule and have to pay her monthly board, and find someone to ride her. I've never wanted 2 horses, been there done that, and neither got ridden enough. I just want one, my mare. I love BC, and she's sweet. I just feel like that "right" home is never going to come along.

I would not be laughing! I have often thought of locking my coops at night because of people stealing chickens for food.
Are you going to do anything about this?
