I'm going to get an RCom Suro king that's like the Brinsea Advance EX, can't remember where I saw it though. After this year there will be NO more still air/styrofoam nightmares for me! My hatch rate, except for my own eggs from here, SUCKED.

I have a little bantam straight combed I think little pullet from the chicken stock. We named her Bonnie and EVERY moring she flies up onto the dutch door to get a snuggle, man I love that bird!

Oh and btw not to enable you all or anything, but the Brinsea Octagon Advance EX with the humidity pump is on sale now at Brinsea.com with $80 off. It's going for $415 which although is a good chunck of change, is still a really good price!

AND Kemps Koops has a closeout sale on the R-Com equiv. the King Suro 20 with APS for 339.00 .... now WHERE did I put that credit card? At that Price?? One word... MINE....
OMG... just enabled myself and bought one

Lovins are we on for Wednesday night?? Just sold a bunch of birds and eggs-dinner is on me! LOL

LOL we are definately on, but you dont need to buy dinner goober. I am going to shoot a message to Deanner and see if she can go! The incubator is $140 off so it's being put away for next year. I am not hatching anymore this year.

A decent incubator will pay for itself in one season. Would for me anyway, and you can always sell they styro one or give it to a school..

IMHO these are the best:
R-com 20
brinsea - never had the auto humidity control but it is very stable and easy to manage
and I hear the r-com suro is also very good and cheaper than the brinsea with humidity.

The only issue I had with the Rcom is on the older model it can't get the humidity up to 60 after some years of use. The new one is 100% fine but I have only had that one for a year.

Yah I sprung for the new Rcom King Suro with humidity pump like Brinseas, only $80 cheaper. So, like you said I lost hundreds of dollars worth of eggs this year. I needed to upgrade and yes, the 2 I have will probably go to a school or craigslist.

I *might* consider testing it on quail eggs later this season if the 3 cotournix I have make it, breed and lay. I only ended up with 3 out of 24 eggs so...

Oh btw Natalie do you still want a breeding pair of Buttons?
