Nat, I read where you miss Patrick. One of the boys is named PJ (for Patrick Jr). If you want one of them, I'll let you have him if you are willing to meet me somewhere between us. I really can't keep both boys. In the summer I spend most of my time outdoors, doesn't leave alot of time on-line unfortunately. I miss you all too. I can't believe all the girls I got to hatch from you. And they are oh so sweet. None of them are laying yet though. They are all nicely reddened up, but they're slackers, what can I say

Hi Hoppy. My blrw are growing up gorgeous!!! I lost the columbian though. I seem to be losing one chick from each hatch, not until they are several weeks old though, it's strange. They are so cute though.

Yours hatched right around the time mammahens hatched and hers just laid her first olive egg this week0it was gorgeous! go back about a ton of posts to see photos--your aren't too far behind- Cant wait to hear when they do and what colors they lay I love my girls they are all so gentle-I would love a Pattrick Jr but I cannot possibly have any more roos:-( I just ordered 25 meaties too! I still have 5 BLRW roos and many mre that havent voiced their opinions yet! haha-I bet someone here at chickenstock would LOVE him though!!! If you havent sold him then bring him I might just change my mind dangit if someone else doent pipe up first-SOMEONE BETTER! LOL

I saw Mommahens pic, that's a beautiful egg. Maybe I need to bring my girls in and show it to them. Maybe they will be jealous and start to lay lol . I know just what you mean about too many roos. I have eight now, need to cut that number in half at least.

I saw the ad, the only weird thing I saw was the price $2030, figured it was a typo.

I just bought 12 Frizz LF Cochin. The way the egg carton was packed allowed it to slide back and forth and impacr the sides of the box. Every single air cell was free moving. Do you think there is any hope?

yes, dont move them much-let them sit in an egg carton and then use that egg carton in the bator. -
