Well, it will be for everybody, next year. I just figured this would be more of a sure thing than shipping eggs to Houston. Houston PO is *very* hard on eggs. It is an extreme gamble having eggs or birds shipped to Houston. Rather pick up started birds and give them to a serious chicken person who knows more about breeding chickens than me and has good facilities for it and will take good care of them!

And definitely you need to plan on being there next year! That would be great!

Well, unfortunately, that was why my rheumatologist took X-rays - because I have bits and pieces that hurt. She knows I'm not a wiener about stuff like that and that I'm very active, considering. The X-rays showed the start of classic gull wing erosions on the distal finger joints. All of the distal finger joints on both hands and probably my neck and back. My knees are gone, but it may have contributed to that. I had severe synovitis and bone erosion in both of them before they went on vacation.

I'm on indomethicin, 25 mg 2-3 times/day. Right now I'm taking it 3 times/day. Is there something that would be better? The Dr. said indomethicin was an oldie but goodie and very strong.

wow Brindle this trip is going to be a long one for you:-( Im sorry hunny....Do the drugs make you loopy and happy at least?

No. My hubby gets crabby when he drives too much, so I need to drive most of the time. But if I take enough indomethicin it covers everything pretty well and reduces the inflammation. Only getting out of the car is hard!

How do you think I come by my name, for heaven's sake!

That's awful, Cindy. But because of them baby-boomers out there all aging, there's quite a few pain killers on the market, not habit forming! Wishing you to be pain free!

I hope you feel better and hopefully they can slow this down, being sick or in pain, just sucks

Do you have lupus Hoppy? I do. I just started having really bad joint involvement this year, but I've been anemic for years. Always tired, run down, want to sleep. It's tough. Make sure you rest. Drink lots of water. Eat well and stay as active as you humanly can. These dang rheumo things crack a whallop to you.

hoppy Id love to wrap you up and float you here to be with us:-( Lovins is having one next year so maybe when you are sooo much stronger you can make that one and make a mini vaca out of it so all the traveling doesnt do much to your body??? I ts a goal--that and lovins is a nurse and can throw some O2 in yah and make you smile:)

And YES, it is TOTALLY amazing about Brindles gift-I hope I can do her proud with breeding them and supplying hatching eggs to the sharks:)
