Nat,
if you treat the flea once monthly with frontline (make sure it's not the counterfit stuff) for 3 months in a row, you should get rid of any fleas that moved into the house. also vacuum any where the pets sleep as that is where the fleas lay their eggs and thren empty outside the vacuum bag. frontline only sells to vets so the counterfit stuff could be found at the petshop and if your dog is flea allergic, the itch could last for weeks even after the fleas are gone. if your vet was recently at the vet for itching, as if they will just write you the script for the spray you want.
won't hurt to ask and could save you some money.

yes hes itchy but it was from other things-I thinkhes allergic to food so he has to get tested and such as his other meds didnt work-Its definately frontline that I have-thank goodness I have not bought crappy flea meds for over 20 years leanred my lesson early with my firdt dog:-( I have to get that spray it worked wonders for that 1 day... enough for him to stop scratching and If I can get him to stop for a few days in arow he can heal sooo much faster??

Is there any mechanism to circulate air and provide ventilation?

I'm not sure, I didn't have a chance to check it out thoroughly at work today, I brought home one of the manuals so I could look up the model number on line, but...not a lot of info. I did see that it had two trays inside...that's about all I noticed at a glance.

I cant bring up the link:-( what did you think of those lavs that hatched huh Jen?? Do you know how excited I am after two years of trying to get them from my own breeding and no short cuts!! STOKED!!!! She had a 50% lav hatch rate! thats not normal though it should have been fewer but hey I wouldnt complain If I got those with my next hatch-just a heads up there a few people watching and secretly lurking on those eggs haha get your shark fin out sister!

Hoppy, what color eggs do the the BLRW lay? I could have sworn the eggs you sent were light tan.
Well I have my 2 BLRW pullets in with one of Nats polish crosses that lays a light egg, and a barbaranter, who also lays a tan egg. Those girls are not laying now, but today I got a redish- brown egg? I assume it has to be the BLRW. She has pinked up her comb in the last week as well. The color seems wrong. Could it be her???

No that sounds about right-the BLRW eggs I got to incubate were brownish red-probably more like pullet eggs as the color was deeper for new layers-fades in time.
