taxed in DE are a joke compared to jersey...I have just shy of 15 acres 4 bedroom ranch with 24x40 barn..my taxes are 1,075 a year

Florida, 4 yr old house, 2000sq ft, + garage, Barn, 2 sheds, 1 acre, property taxes $3400 first yr, $2300 2nd yr, $1900 3rd yr, and now $1681. Only in Florida!

OK, spent the day cleaning coops, well, watching chickens while Jeremy cleaned coops. Midas is out with my MF girls and loving every minute of it. One of them has decided that it is a good time to molt, so she had no tail feathers.

We have threatened the kids that Santa will not be coming here if they don't get their rooms clean. They are so messy that I can barely walk in them. I am giving them today, if they are not clean by bedtime, I clean them tomorrow and they will have A LOT less stuff! (I know, I'm a mean mom)

How was everyone elses day? Everyones baking done? I haven't even started mine yet.

Haven't done any baking today. Was at work. I think I might make some brownies tonight. I could do a pumpkin pie, guess that's more traditional. Maybe pumpkin cheesecake? hmmm... decisions...
