Im so sad tonight-Got home in just enough time after dark to lock up my birds and all 3 of my calls are missing we had a man wide search of our property and everyone elses surrounding us..NOTHING..not a peep..Im so sad sad sad..They are my babies-We are numb and cold and Im so worried I hope they are hunkered down somewhere keeping warm ad will be honking away at their duckie pool in am:-( They are my only calls and just the absolute favorites around here as they are so precious tiny and sweet--If they heard my voice they would have quacked back for sure. I mena we searched 12 acres high and low all with spot lights..ugh Ive have some bad luck lately..Mark has said if they arrive in am they are no longer allowed to free range and will be put inside the garage with the new pens..ok I see the point but they love to roam around. I guess theres no point in roaming in Winter though nothing to eat or explore you know?? I will set up the new part of garage like a pimped out pen lots of hay and warmth..Ok Im crying again Ill talk to you guys in am-hope everyone had a great T day--
Oh yeah forgot to add the other two blacl split lavs went broody too

all 3 are broody now! SO guess what? SInce I can't incubate any longer in house Im pumping BLRW eggs under them all!!!! Bob thats screws the pooch on eggs! Im so sorry--when they start laying again the first bacth is yours if you still want them or can take them!

I know it is Thanksgiving, but I need to go on a mini rant here. I posted on my FB last night about missing my great-Grammy when Jeremy pulled out her pie crust recipe to makes pies last night. Now, this is my Mom's mom's mom (hope you follow). She passed away in 2005 and was a great lady. So, I just get home from my mom's tonight and had a reply to my FB thingie from my dad's mom. She says and I quote "I think your Grammy Kulp was pretty awsome too she was good to you.And you spent a lot of time at my house also doing things too bad you forget." Now, my Grammy Kulp was her mom. I do have to admit, I wasn't as close with my dad's side of the family because my parents were young when I was born and divorced when I was 3, so I didn't see them a lot. My mom did make sure that I spent time with them, especially in the summer though. Grammy K was my great-grammy and as my as my Grammy would like to think so, she didn't have as much time for me as she did the other kids, because they were her actual grandkids. She was a great lady, but I didn't spend much time with her. I have never said one bad thing about her to anyone, nor would I. I don't think she had a bad bone in her body. It just irks me that my own grandmother has to be like that on Thanksgiving of all days because I made a comment about my other great-grandmother. I don't get it. Maybe I am overreacting, but it makes me want to cry that she says things like that to me, her ONLY grandchild. (I hope I made sense, I am pretty upset, so forgive me if I don't)

OK, rant over. Sorry for that, I just needed to get it off my chest.
