Did you ever figure out where that mystery hen came from after CS?
yup the sweet older lady that was from Utica-the hen got loose and she couldnt cath her and she had to leave-so she did as she didnt she her hen run off into my coop! LOL shes still a pistol we call her won ton haha
One of Renates? My buff silkie hen is from her, pet quality, but a super cute smart little fluff ball. She doesn't take crap from anyone!
Nat- Yay, for another egg sale. Although, honestly they are so pretty they sell them selves.
I won the Bobbi Porto/ Indigo Egg auction on Bid Bird Auctions for silkies. Now pray for safe arrival before Friday. I want to start them to hatch on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. My Angelbaby is going to be so excited.
Several silkie auctions on BYC right now, I almost did Catdance silkies but not sure about partridge and its acceptability in showing. May still get more of a variety pack from her for a New Years day hatch. Between two batches of shipped eggs she should end up with at least a few babies, right?

Leave them alone! If you poke them they will dry out and then they can't get out. When I had a loner I put her in a clear plastic storage container and put her on the dining room table so she could see us.
Do any of us sharks have bantam light Brahmas? The people selling us the farm's little girl had 4 bantam light brahmas and 3 were roos 1 hen... the hen died... figures. I'd like to hatch her some more.
