I am small scale compared to big box retail/ grocery stores, lol. I am a senior site manager for the last major petroleum company with corporate stores. Most petroleum companies have went franchise or private dealers. I have been a corporate c-store manager/ training specialist for over 15 years. Hee hee, fancy way of saying I manage a corporate owned gas station.

I did a stint with a franchise when we were going to be sold off 8 years ago. I hated it. I ran back to corporate when they changed their mind and kept us. I love the consistency of expectations as well as the benefits of being a corporate manager. Mostly, I never work 90 hours a week.

Lovins, did you try the buttermilk/oatmeal thing? I warm it up and put it in a warmed little crock. They seem to like it. Sometimes the only thing they'll eat is hand-feeding baby bird food.

Speaking of low weight, how can you tell if your bird has worms? I don't see any, but she is much thinner than she should be. No diarrhea, no other symptoms that I can see, just feels like a bunch of nothing when I pick her up. Got her from Renate when we were at Nat's. I only thought worms because she has nothing else that I could think of, but I've never had them before, that I know of anyway.

As far as school, I just signed up for 21 credits next semester - god help me! I need to get my courses done so I can apply for grad school in the fall. Anyone want to write me a recommendation letter?

Nat, hope your DD feels better soon. And "Mud" just seems too slow a word for what it's describing - unless it's a rampaging mud slide.

C - please don't talk about your ages anymore. It makes using my walker that much more difficult.

I do it maybe everyother year. Sometime S&^t happens and I don't get to it, but this year I did. And you know what picture I used Nat! They came out real cute! How's DD this morning? Awake yet?
