Lovins is having trouble getting online, since she doesn't have access at the new house. She was working tonight on getting someone to plow her driveway for tomorrow.

Sorry about the hubs' work schedule, that sounds rough!

We canceled class tonight because the wind chill is going to be like 15F by 8pm. Dogs and people alike just aren't used to that kind of temp down here!

6 BCM's out

and I NOT kidding when I say Im pretty sure I have 5 roos!!! the size of those combs scared the bejesum out of me when I put them in brooder. I couldnt believe it-some were so big they were folded in half!

I hope Im wrong but anytime I have ever seen combs that big I was dead on everytime! Im happy they are happy and healthy though #6 is still in bator drying off please be a girl please be a girl.

WTHCHRISTI--can you pretty much tell their sex at birth with huge combs???
