Shattered Glass everywhere

Hey yall.....so I have an issue.....yesterday my friend accidentally busted out her rear window in her jeep. There are teeny tiny shards of glass EVERYWHERE. Its also very muddy so a bunch has sunk or been buried. Her jeep was stuck and then pulled out, and bottomed out and was drug on the ground. The ruts are deep and full of water...so I cant see the glass in there or much in the center. I dug and felt gently along the ground and pulled some pieces up, but I know there is a ton more. Its literally impossible to find any more...yet I know there's a TON in the ground. My ducks run over that area all the time, and play in the water filled ruts....I have know idea what to do. I have not let them out since I don't want them in shattered glass. Any ideas?

I would run to tractor supply and get some cheap plastic poultry fence with poles to fence the area off. After that I don't know if you could cover it with a good foot or two or dirt, but I don't know how to otherwise get rid of small shards that you can't see.

If it is a large rut that the glass is in go get a shovel and bury the glass.

Or dig out the area, trash the soil, and replace it.

The glass crumbles somewhat but is still really sharp. Its also tinted to its hard to see. Its in ruts and on higher ground.

Rake the area clean up what you see and then fill in the ruts with clean dirt.

If it's sharp then best shovel out the contaminated soil as best you can then add fresh soil.

I would just shovel out as much of the dirt as possible then replace it.

A bright flashlight at night time is a good way to double check for missing pieces.
