Is it safe to use cedar chips as a shaving in their coop?

I'm not an expert, but the consensus is no cedar.

No. Cedar exudes oils which are bad for fowl. The oils can cause respiratory problems.

PINE shavings. Or whatever else, other than cedar, that you can find.

I've heard that it can cause respiratory problems in chickens and from what I heard cedar is a MAJOR NO NO. Use pine
