Shaw and the Hound

My TWC is hot nosed. He's been impressive hunting. Too bad I'm the one with issues running through the woods at night. The guys I train with threaten to put a GPS collar on me.

Just gave the hound his first bite of a bratwurst. I know his origins are not German...but geez...its still in his food bowl!

TWC have an interesting history. The sire most lines were developed from was stolen off a hunt in mid Tennessee. In the mid 1850's. Taken to Kentucky and the rest is history. I believed they bred him to over 100 bitches the first year or so. The offspring were carefully monitored to exhibit the unique hunting style of the original sire.

He don't much like fruits and veggies though.

My Airedale had to have anything that I was eating or preparing. I was cutting up jalapenos for chili, she kept wanting some so I gave her a slice. She was right back wanting more.
