Unlike WASPS and BEES cicadas do NOT sting or bite! They DO however like to get stuck in my hair.

I am very familiar with cicadas. We had lots of them when I was growing up in SW PA. I have never been stung by a wasp since I left PA. I have only been stung by one bee this year. It stung me because it was getting squeezed too hard (unintentionally).

I am sure that the paper wasps that are here would sting but I never give them a chance. I have never seen the sand wasps or the black wasps or even the various other wasps make any aggressive moves.

No way! That would have crunched and popped and made a big bug gut puddle in the floor.
Sometimes I catch one and throw it in the house on purpose so the cat can play with it. Actually the cat had it first but Mason took it from him.

There's some things you just really need not step on. I had a big spider run across the room one night and the Hubs got up and grabbed my shoe to go kill it and he was wearing boots! I stopped that nonsense! He could goo up his own footwear or capture the thing. The spider got release outside

He's gonna be in for a big surprise one of these days when he meets a cat with front claws.

We were sitting out front earlier cause it was raining..

He heard something in the back yard..and freaking LAUNCHED OFF THE SIDE OF THE PORCH!
I had a small heart attack because I did not know if the cable was long enough. It was ok...but holy S***
here is a pic of how high the porch is.
