Shaw and the Hound

Pics
:frow Hello friends.
Living with a coon hound is quite the adventure!
I thought I would create a thread for sharing hound dog stories and pictures.
Today we went to a park/campground where an old mill used to be. It was beautiful there. We had a fabulous time. View attachment 2163851View attachment 2163852View attachment 2163853View attachment 2163854View attachment 2163855View attachment 2163856
I have 2 beagles they're rescues so of course they have serious issues but I love them just the same they are now inside dogs and are not quite used to it even after a yr so they sleep in a crate but they are serious love bugs

I've not owned too many dogs in my lifetime but the ones I've had have always stayed by my side I have never had to worry about them just taking off like that.
I suppose I should've expected that being what he is.
But it is the one thing I really dislike about having him.
I got training collars for my beagles they now stay right with me the collars are by dogcile the company also does training videos for hounds i love it took them about a week to understand the collars and they don't crazy bark anymore

They are adorable!
I gave some serious thought to a beagle. Or a beagle Basset mix. But I wanted something just a little bigger than a beagle.
What kind of "issues" do they have? Were they abused?
