Shaws call duck incubation thread (hatch a wonderful(worthless to Ralphie) dux thread)

The nurture right has a plastic grate but the holes seem fairly large to me Not little squares like the Styrofoam one had. I wondered if the little call duck feet could get stuck in there. I'll probably put the liner in cause of that.
One of these ducks got a leg between the tray and the side. I was right there to free him but there are gaps they definitely can get in trouble with.

I'm curious about the liners.. I know lots of peeps use them. I used them years ago when I hatched at the old house. But didn't start using them again till this year. I'm wondering if they are made of a slightly different material now or maybe thicker..hmmm
Any ideas from yall?

I'm so sorry...:hugs

Dh and I were talking about names the other night and I said I should go with Comet and Cupid....:lau
I'll have to pass on Ralphie tho...:lau

I am forever in your debt for this!...:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow

A dumb DUX question, Do any of you vaccinate the baby DUX for anything..

I have no idea what, just asking. I assume the webbed feet are genetic so no vaccination there.

I am vaccinating chicks today so I just was wondering.
