I used tape only on the one that was actually a dud, lol. So I'm still not sure if that was actually safe or not for them.

That's what I was wondering, might not be a bad idea.
I know @Pyxis used tape on those emu eggs, I'm not sure what kind. i guess that could be another option.

I guess I'll have to do the egg shuffle now and get that humidity up. Meanwhile I think the aircells on the ones due this week look a bit small. I need happy medium!

1 of my D'Uccle eggs has an internal pip! I candled, and watched the little beak pushing up into the aircell, and back down again. AAAHHHH! only 2 of the eggs are about to hatch, one died a few days ago, but I left it in to make sure. Glad I disposed of it today, it might have exploded. A little chick with beak, wings, legs and toes, and feather follicles was dead in it. So sad, it would have been a beautiful baby. But my cat had it for a delicious snack.
