She had bumble foot on both feet about 4 yrs ago in winter, I brought her inside and she was in about a month got the bumble healed and was waiting for chick shoes to arrive so I could put her out with the rest of the flock but keep her feet safe. She was the best house chicken only problem was she got so use to the dogs she wanted to get on their beds with them, That was going a smidge to far,[they thought] so when shoes came back out she went.
I bet the dogs were glad she went back out..:lau

I can totally see that! My other brahma never really bonded with people so she'll move away from me calmly. But she's a caregiver, stays up late with the half grown chicks until they go to bed.

Id never even seen a live brahma until i met the girl who gave me the eggs im hatching but ive drooled over many pics of em...:lau
Most everyone who has them says great things about their temperament so im hopefull! :D
