My goose is a stinker. Hatched here but boy does he have attitude. Thinks he is in the secret service when it comes to his mate.

Oh mine is too... he's currently by himself, until the new ones are big enough to put in with him. But he is spoiled rotten and will go after adults if they get close to me...which is good sometimes..My goose is a stinker. Hatched here but boy does he have attitude. What did you ever figure out about Lexis color? I don't remember if you told me. And why was it disappointing?
And ya. I don't understand why folks get so offended. If your going to advertise a certain breed or color. . you should know for sure what it is. If your not sure just say your not sure and accept others input! That person should be grateful for the correction instead of being defensive.![]()
So I noticed that we left some sharp points on this kennel cage I'm using. . so I got my little pliers out and fixed it. I had such a good little helper it was too cute. Here she is double checking my work.

Nothing like happy a stream to brighten the day!Well, I never really figured anything out with Lexi, just that she wasn't proper grey. I didn't know the non-iridescent speculum was considered a major fault, as far as SOP goes. Not that I loved her any less, and I would never have gotten rid of her if that damned raccoon hadn't taken her. But when trying to figure out future genetics, its kinda important to know what you've got in order to move toward what you want.
Oh my GERSH!
I love your stream picture too. I drive past a pretty one on my way to work every day, its the only nice part of all this dreaded rain we've been having. At least the stream looks pretty.![]()
@WVduckchick i was hoping you could see the drakes well enough to tell me whats up with the color changes... are they in ellipse?
Ok... id love to see pics if you can find em.I would assume so... since Jax is getting dark too. I was trying to find comparison pics of him. But if they are getting darker, I would assume eclipse (not ellipse lol... blame Monroe)
This website has a few comparison pics of nuptial vs. eclipse of some of the colors.
