It’s not a blue, for sure. The one that the hawk got was blue, and they were clearly very different.
Best pic I can find, blue on the lower left, beside one of these twins. I also have twin “silvers”. Much lighter than the two that I can’t figure out. Malibu on the far left, one of the silvers up on the platform. The lower chest area is turning the color that Bonkers did, prior to his big color change.

Well. . my daughter took off with my cat carrier and the kennel cage I have is kind of awkward to put in the car if I need to take it somewhere. . .the brooder tubs are kinda big,
We got a bunch of those mineral tubs sitting around. Thinking of making a bunch of them to try and sell. Works good to sit on or put yer feet up too! Lol. It would be perfect to take a batch of call ducklings somewhere to sell wouldn't it!

They make a thing just for carrying DUX, I think it is even called a DUX carrier.

Just for whatever is needed. It seems like I'm always needing an extra cage for some reason or another. If a duck has an injury and needs to be isolated for a night or two, or to carry a bird to sell or if I ever go buy a bird. .or I could even use it to take my cat to the vet if I need to. didn't need it for anything particular at the moment. .
He just got a new jig saw last weekend and wanted to try it out.

Calls do pair up a little more than most breeds, so sometimes we can get away with extras, but it’s easier to not have them.

That's true. I reckon it's best to avoid conflicts with too many.
