Eh... never seen that.. but I don't get out much.

We carry the untamed ones by putting a towel over their head,then holding them close to our body, very careful to keep wings closed tight against their body.

Yeah... you have to be careful of those super sharp claws and very strong wings.

Well. . maybe it didn't hurt them. But I didn't like seeing it

Never heard of carrying a Muscovy by their wings like that I can’t imagine that would be healthy.

The proper way to carry any Dux is to firmly grasp the Dux above the chest cavity and below the beak on the neck..

One needs to be sure to grip extremely tightly....Hold on tight...the Dux might thrash about some....Keep holding tight...When they stop thrashing they will calm down and be a good dux...Hold about 10 minutes longer to insure they will always be a good Dux....

I realise my birds are spoiled. So I try to remind myself of that when I look at swap meet birds. . even one of the other call duck people that was there yesterday came up and told us ours were the best looking birds there!
But he didn't buy any.
