Because sometimes their necks are too short to externally pip. Its just a tiny tiny hole in the big end of the air cell just in case. I know I know. . what you will say about that. . but it is a method tried and true by almost every call duck Hatcher I have spoken to.

It is as I have suspected...Even God does not want them to hatch....

It is as I have suspected...Even God does not want them to hatch....

I'm starting to feel like this is true.
The one baby got out before I got home. . but one of the others died. The other one is still hanging on so far. . but still no external. Opened it a little bit. Will evaluate after a while if it needs further assistance.
