The waterer,,,those seals on the top always leak and they never hold water. I have tried new covers and seals nothing seems to keep them working. I have used vaseline and grease to try and make the seal air tight. It fails. I normally have to use a plastic bag under the cover when I screw it down. They are terrible in my opinion.

I could have sold you a half dozen used ones cheap.

I have one of those I used for one of my chicken pens... it's about 3 years old and still seals... it was just a pain to line the lid up just right and felt like you had to crank it down forever, but it worked... just make sure it's not even slightly tilted when you twist it back on and check it before you leave for any amount of time...

Well it will Hopefully be better than my homemade coffee can waterer that they empty in about 8 hours :gig
