Shaws call duck incubation thread (hatch a wonderful(worthless to Ralphie) dux thread)

I am going to assume that in the posters above the ones who do not show a male and female version that both sexes must look pretty much the same.
I'll post pictures in a week or so, I'm not good at this yet. All the lighter colored ones look the same to me! But their colors aren't fully developed yet. I know I don't have all grays. That's about all.

I also know that their juvenile plumage will change too. . so it's really hard for me to tell what we could end up with.

Snowy?

? Huge bill, is this even a call? All eggs were small.

Then 3 basically like this. There are subtle differences.

Know what wv? I bet your Lexi duck was a dusky gray.
And I'm starting to think Daisy and Daphne look like the apricot silver in that poster. . and your Bianca.
We need @Ravynscroft to come back and straighten us out. :hit

My Lexi was darker than dusky Grey. She was pretty close to Grey, just not perfect. I don't think her speculum ever turned blue, and her eye stripe was very faint. I do think I may have a dusky Grey juvie now, and my older grey juvie already looks closer to accurate, but they still have a ways to go. The descriptions are in the ABA standard book I just bought, I haven't scoured them really well yet to see exactly what is lacking and what is right.

This site has some good pics too, you all have probably seen it.

Great site! Maybe my big duck is a blue fawn female.
