Wow!! Those cute puff girls do NOT like you in their space. I heard them and saw their feathers ruffle up. Plus the one hen mama lashed out.

I usually just reach in and quickly but gently set my hand over top of her head and then shes fine...

However if they get nasty they get a quick flick on the beak. She hasn't pushed it to that point yet and today I was at fault for messin with her so she didnt get in "trouble"..
