Yes, but what about all the sights that you cannot unsee?
Very true, they do require a lot of introspection. Sometimes so much so that it becomes obsessive introspection, I haven't figured out how to keep that from interfering with my life in general. Except to try to look in the mirror and obsess about what are the good things in my life and try to continue to do and live by those.
Still I believe we are all profoundly effected by everything we see and do, in the end it makes you who you are. Neither good or bad, just a product of your life and how you choose to move forward with those good and bad (for most of us the bad) things in life.
I guess I have rattled on enough with my philosophy of life. Don't want to bore y'all, I like most of you too much.

We were deep sea fishing about 20 years ago and one of our party caught an amberjack (probably around 40 lbs, based on what we were catching), all of a sudden it stopped pulling and we thought it got off the hook. When it got to the top of the water it was just a hooked, live amberjack head. Shortly, there after a roughly 10 foot hammerhead shark surfaced and circled the boat. just goes to show you, big or small, they just have
Yes, quite a sight when it is circling your boat, I have also seen a giant sea turtle in the Atlantic ocean. See, being old ain't that bad it gives you years to see all sorts of stuff you would have never seen if you go early in life. ;)
Thank you, that brightened my day. I have to go to the laundromat now because my dryer broke. In case I get behind again with this thread, here is Gloria molting. :gig And some of my eggs.

Awesome! Here’s a pic of the captain of a trawler examining his catch. (Christmas 1999, bait was kippers, baby leopard shark was returned to SF bay, cat went on to be 20 years old)

I was thinking the same thing the other day. There's like a dozen rat threads, just on the first page. Are people so spoiled now that it's too much trouble to just scroll down?

Got a pic of that rare crook toed red jungle hen? Is she from lines passed down from your me-maw?

Here is Cherise. It's her inside toes. It's not that bad, and I never noticed when she was a chick. Doesn't keep her down at all. Her sister is behind her (Ruby) and has no foot problems. One of the RIRs in the batch had a club foot.

No they did not off the barred rock whose feathers you see here! :gig:gig

Can’t. That’s Gloria from 2017 having passed from cancer or internal laying per the vet.
I have the X-ray if you want so see what that looks like
Whoops.. didn't mean to speak ill of the dead.

I'll pass on the X-ray pictures, but thanks anyway.
