They can actually relax the hair and become almost shapeless. This how they get into tight spaces. Mrs Sasquatch actually showed me this one day. She relaxed her hair and for lack of a better word, “flowed” under the door, much as water would.
They are amazing creatures, as large as they are they could flow into a gopher hole and never be noticed.
