Oh no.. we were gonna get along fine until you mentioned Disturbed lol. And you're DEFINITELY not one of the few haha. That's like saying yeah I dunno I may be one of the minorities but I actually liked the beatles lol. Or this might be super quirky and weird but I kinda liked Bob dylan's writing idkk hahaha. They were extremely popular. There's loads of fan groups n communities that are still very active, I'm actually a moderator of one funny enough.

Interesting! Paul Simon married Edie Brickell. I'm still trying to figure out how that happened. I grew up with their music and learned to play piano to their music. You have to look at it that Disturbed brought Simon and Garfunkle to a whole new generation.

He was also married to Carrie Fisher at one point interestingly enough. And .. maybe. Honestly I've talked to way more people my age and even younger, like teenagers that know Simon and Garfunkel just on their own than through Disturbed though. It's sad, it seems like anytime they get brought up you hear about Disturbed's version, which personally I don't even like. It really doesn't seem like it's helped at all but that's just how I feel, because it's just overshadowed them and most people don't seem to even know Paul wrote it and just think it's a disturbed song only.
