He was also married to Carrie Fisher at one point interestingly enough. And .. maybe. Honestly I've talked to way more people my age and even younger, like teenagers that know Simon and Garfunkel just on their own than through Disturbed though. It's sad, it seems like anytime they get brought up you hear about Disturbed's version, which personally I don't even like. It really doesn't seem like it's helped at all but that's just how I feel, because it's just overshadowed them and most people don't seem to even know Paul wrote it and just think it's a disturbed song only.

I knew the song before Disturbed sang it. Frankly, the vocals are much better in the newer version. It is too bad that it's overshadowed them, but S&G have so much more to go on than Disturbed. They will over come.

Agree to disagree I guess, but yes they will overcome. I got to see Art a couple years ago on my birthday, I mean WOW. What an amazing experience. He lost his voice I think maybe it's been around 6 years ago temporarily, but you wouldn't have ever known. He sounded like an angel, and truly like he did years ago, hardly any change. I'm not ashamed to admit I teared up.
