she An Older Hen

I have had this older Russian Hen, never sure of the breed but anyway, she never layed for me. And she was a real good friend around the yard, got along good with the other hens and Earl (Rooster). Just this past summer in the laying boxes i had seen her wondering is she the hen giving me the extra egg, but i also have afew other hens that have been dormant for a month or two and it could be one of them starting up production again. So i would like to have some advice, Thanks.
