SHE DID IT!! Broody and chick pics inside!

I saw 6 Hamburgs and one BR or BR cross (either is possible) peeking out so far. She was sitting on 11 Hamburgs, 1 EE, and 1 brown egg. Hopefully there are more under there. I had 100% fertility on my hamburgs in my current run in the bator, so I am crossing my fingers that there are more under there or more yet to hatch

Cannot WAIT until they start coming out of the nest box!

Aww that is so cute! My first broody just hatched her eggs. Isn't it the greatest thing.

I have hatched lots of chicks in the bator, but this is our first broody hatch as well

I have another chicken and a turkey sitting as well. I neglected to write down when I set these eggs under her so had no idea when they would hatch. I was surprised when I went to collect eggs and saw fuzzy faces peering out of broody box 1, lol.

That is so sweet and adorable. I can't wait til I have a hen go broody. Unfortuantely that could be a while cause mine are still just babies.
