she did it! ringneck hatched her first chick

hello, well i had given up and went out to the coop this morning and heard peeping, my ringneck hen hatched a chick, so far hes to fast to get picks, ill keep trying, dad is paceing around the brush pile i put in for her, im so exited, now i have to enlarge the run so my older bator hatched chicks can go in with them, hope more hatch out shes on a pile of eggs, thanks to you guys we did it,

no more yet, shes taking good care of the chick and hes protecting, but the little guy is so fast i havnt got a pick yet, ive been trying, hes really independant till he sees me, but its been in the 40s at night and shes keeping him warm, im proud of her, we`ll be adding to the pen soon , i have 4 oldr chicks on the upper level of the a-frame that need to go down,

i hope they all get along, the roo sits up top and talkes to the babies up there alot, were adding 20 more feet to it,
